Top-Rate Four Path of exile 3.1 Shadow Saboteur Builds

The Saboteur focuses on improving his traps and mines with utility bonuses as an alternative to straight damage or critical strike increases. This class also expands on blind as an offensive and defensive mechanic. Within this write-up, Poecurrencybuy will share you Path of exile 3.1 Build For Shadow Saboteur with Fire Nova Mine, Fire Trap, Remote Mine Assistance and Trap Assistance skill gem.

[Poe 3.1 Fire Nova Mine] Fire Nova Mine – Fantastic League Starter – Low Budget – Speedy – HC Viable

Nerfhammer successfully dodged, perhaps we are lucky and also get a slight buff? Let’s wait for the full patch notes.
Patch Notes have arrived:
No modifications to FNM. Almost everything stays the identical – so we can officially contact this guide a 3.1 guide now (was hoping for any small saboteur buff, but that may come with later patches).
As far as I’ve observed, the new help gems do not aid us either.
FNM appears to become appropriate for the Abyss League mechanic due to the fact you’ll be able to spot your mines along the floor cracks even just before you’ve noticed any mobs, once they pop out it is possible to rapidly destroy them, just like heavy boxes, breaches, and so forth. Pretty high, going to play FNM myself this league and preserve you updated with my current gear.

Fire Nova Mines could be the most enjoyable build I’ve played so far. The combination of rapid evident speed, very cheap equipment as well as the possibility to run every single Map Mod without an issue makes this build the right first Character for any new league. You will get rich early on to farm up for the 2nd, a lot more pricey, character.
The build could be adapted to become very HC-viable. I’ve played FNM to level 95 and 92 in HC Leagues.

Do you favor not to have Attacked in the spot generally on making use of the num lock trick so your mines will get placed at your feet? Just believed it might be a great addition towards the guide.

1.adjust the Key bind of “Attack in place” to any of the binary keyboard number.
two.when obtaining num lock turned on press the important you bound to “Attack in place” (in my case its nr 7).
3. when nevertheless holding the specified number turn off your num lock.
4. get pleasure from Perma attack in place

[Poe 3.1 Fire Trap] What a Shocking Tri-Element Crit Trapper!

Well, the Mana nodes in Thoughts over Matter got nerfed. Fairly a whiplash, but skilling a considerable Mana node as an alternative to two little life nodes really should even this back out.Previous that, no buffs to traps or the Saboteur, mostly keeping it each of the identical.Possibly a unique or two will be handy, even though This Build keeps my expectations low.

+ Can run just about any Map mod (Though no Life and Mana reg is usually a substantial discomfort)
+ ‘Mandatory’ gear is affordable
+ Speedy screen-clearing
+ Can get a decently higher life and ES pool (5k+ life and 2.5k-3.5k ES(Based on your speed)
+ Atziri, Izaro and Higher Tier Maps aren’t any problem!
+ Can cope with just about every Guardian! (See Videos for every under)
+ Shaper was viable! (See Video below)
+ Loads of entertaining to play!
+ Everyone loves a Shocker!

– Viable for HC, but can be a discomfort early on, as this build tends to be reasonably squishy in its early stages.
– Mana heavy with no Thoughts more than Matter, meaning you need a Mana Flask if you don’t ability it.
– The higher level of giant Shock Novas and Ice Traps can get on one’s eyes immediately
– Your fingers can get stiff from continually smashing the keyboard

[Poe 3.1 Remote Mine Support] Wintz’s GC Miner Sabo (HC/SC, Shaper, Uber Atziri, Guardian & Uber lab viable)

Ripped at level 96.7 @ rank 5 to log out packet loss. Tried shaper and guardians on standard and was surprised at the single target DPS and decided to remake it on HSC as my league starter and boss farmer.

How does this build work?
Glacial cascade has been changed in 3.0 into a simple physical harm spell with innate 60% cold conversion. This Build indicates it can now scale nicely with Phy’s damage nodes (else if 100% conversion) while receiving the benefit of hatred/added fire/herald of ash and so on.

Tremor Rod vs. dagger/shield?
Tremor rod can potentially give you an 18-24% AOE boost throughout mapping because the mines can be detonated twice. Also has significant mine laying speed but you lose shield charge + fort mobility and defense. Also, lack much crit % and life/res from a shield.
Shield/dagger variety has extra damage up front, but tremor really should have comparable DPS in a sustained fight.

[Poe 3.1 Trap Support] 10c Price range, efficiently farm Atziri/Uber Lab/Early Red Maps

All is well. Last expansion I farmed up 15 Poe exalted orb in about three days with this build although spending 10c on it. I know I’m a piece of shit when it comes to answering people’s questions, so I’m grateful that the community around the build has been helping every other. That’s with decent gear, the gear I did Shaper with. All you’ll need to do is focus on ELE damage/life/resists/crit as substantially as feasible, but to farm Atziri and Uber Lab, you do not require very not even Tinkerskin. Get it when you can though. The skills section also shows you what to put in as you get 5/6l in the unchecked skills.

Typically, they may be not worth the trouble for factors which can be enough in the long run. While they may be useful for players, who may well know nothing about the game. For the most portion, they may be learning tools for newcomers to ease them into the game. Each character level 36 and above can open the Treasure Trove once per day for free during the event period. Opening the Trove will give you the opportunity to purchase any of the items you see with gold, but you can only purchase one item per Treasure Trove Key used!

Six additional Treasure Trove slots can be opened with Treasure Trove Expansions purchased from the Hongmoon Store, which will unlock these slots for the entirety of the Holiday Treasure Trove period. These additional slots increase your chances of seeing a valuable item, so it’s a good idea to unlock them early. Additional Treasure Trove Keys can also be purchased, but if you’re looking to buy several keys or expansions at once, be sure to check out the bundles below.

One Trove is great, but five Troves are better. Included in the Holiday Treasure Trove is the ability to unlock five Troves at once! This allows you to more quickly use keys and open Troves if you’ve purchased a bundle. Whether you use one key or five, the same items are available either way, and the Guaranteed Rewards counter will increase accordingly.

Guaranteed Rewards

You’ll find the Guaranteed Rewards counter bar at the top of the Treasure Trove interface. Each Treasure Trove Key used will increase the bar by 1-3 points (if you unlock five Troves, it will increase by 5-15 points), provided it was purchased from the Hongmoon Store (free daily keys don’t count).  After the bar reaches its maximum of 40 points, your next purchased Treasure Trove Key used will guarantee higher-tier rewards.

The Treasure Trove Key and Treasure Trove Expansion bundles are available again. Buy more and you’ll save more with our bundle discounts!

There’s more than one type of Christmas card and more than one way to deck the halls.

It’s Zero Escape: The Nonary Games!

gamesread | The RPS Advent Calendar, Dec 15th

Katharine: Arguably the greatest visual novels of all time (sorry, Danganronpa fans), Zero Escape: The Nonary Games is actually two games in one, bringing the excellent 999: 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors and Virtue’s Last Reward to PC for the first time. Instead of asking players to simply click through reams of (admittedly excellent) text, the strength of both games comes from their ingenious escape room puzzles and clever branching storylines that build in the idea of a traditional ‘game over’ scenario right into its overarching narrative.

To go into detail about each game’s story would be stepping into huge spoiler territory, so let’s just say this. In each game, you’re one of nine people who have been kidnapped and placed in the mysterious Nonary Game – the first is aboard a strange replica of the Titanic, while the second appears to be in some kind of underground research facility. Each contestant also has a wrist watch that can instantly kill them if they disobey the rules, and the only way to get out alive is for everyone to work together in order to solve the myriad puzzle rooms that await. The only problem is that one of you is also the Nonary Game’s main architect Zero, causing tensions to run high as everyone tries to figure out who in the group put them here and why.

The escape rooms come thick and fast, providing a serious work-out for your brain as you delve deeper into each one’s deadly game of trust and betrayal, and the way the game forces you to work together with certain characters ensures you build up a rounded picture of everyone’s motivations and suspicions. The characters are all beautifully realised thanks in no small part to some surprisingly decent voice-acting, and there are twists galore that keep you guessing right to the end. Yes, it might look a bit ropey by today’s standards (these were originally DS and 3DS games, after all), but what’s a few low-res textures when the rest of it is such a rich, succulent treat?

Head back to the calendar to open the door to another of 2017’s best games.

gamesread - Samsung 850 EVO review: A great SSD, but only just

If your PC’s been feeling a bit sluggish lately, you could probably do with upgrading your main disk drive to an SSD. They’re a heck of a lot faster than traditional hard disk drives (HDDs), and they also take up much less room inside your case, allowing them to sit snugly inside smaller builds with ease. But when so many say they’re lightning fast this and super, extra quick that, it can be difficult to cut through the marketing jargon. We’ve covered the basics of what you need to look out for in our SSD buying guide, but today I thought we’d start by looking at one of the most popular 2.5in SSDs around, the Samsung 850 Evo.

More affordable than its closely related sibling, the Samsung 850 Pro, the 850 Evo regularly tops most SSD recommendations lists – and with good reason. It not only has a lovely five year warranty for extra peace of mind, but Samsung’s VNAND tech is pretty damn fast for the money, with Samsung claiming sequential read and write speeds of up to 540MB/s and 520MB/s respectively.

Admittedly, those figures require a bit of fiddling around with Samsung’s additional features, but even with its TurboWrite tech and Rapid mode left off, I recorded a sequential read speed of 497.9MB/s and sequential write speed of 452.64MB/s in the AS SSD benchmark. [Small disclaimer here: I tested the 850 Evo on my rather ancient desktop (2.8GHz quad-core AMD Athon II X4 360, 8GB RAM, Windows 10), so results might not be quite as fast as a more up to date system. I’ll be upgrading my PC over Christmas, though, so I’ll re-run these tests in the New Year to give you a more up to date picture of how it runs on a modern machine. Small disclaimer over.]

That said, sequential read and write speeds aren’t really the best indicator of real-world performance. This is because, as the name implies, sequential tests read and write files in a neat little line one after the other in adjacent locations. Most of the time, though, SSDs function a bit like a messy bedroom, with files thrown haphazardly into any available nook and cranny with no rhyme or reason to their overall placement. As a result, random tests are a much better gauge of how fast an SSD’s actually going to be in everyday use. The catch is that these results are quite a bit slower than sequential speeds, and Samsung helpfully doesn’t provide these sorts of figures because they’re not the equivalent of an SSD show home.

Indeed, the 850 Evo’s 4K test results, where it reads and writes 1GB of randomly selected 4KB files across the SSD, don’t make for great reading, coming in at just 35.44MB/s read and 63.58MB/s write. Goodbye dreams of seconds-long copy times for large game files. However, while the figures themselves don’t look great on paper, the 850 Evo’s 4K read and write speed is still 14% and 3% faster than the results I got for one of its main 2.5in competitors, WD’s Blue 3D NAND SSD.

Behold, a bar graph with numbers and results described in word form above.

The 850 Evo also proved to be the better drive in AS SSD’s Access Time test as well, which measures the speed between a read or write request being made and it actually taking place. This is meant to give you an idea of how responsive the OS will be. On both counts, the Samsung 850 Evo scored 0.055ms, equalling the WD Blue 3D NAND on read time (0.052ms) but beating it by 96% when it came to write time (0.108ms).

The Samsung 850 Evo also edged ahead in AS SSD’s copying benchmark. Here, it copies three folders (an ISO folder with two large files, a program folder with lots of small files, and a game folder with a mix of large and small files), aiming to show how the SSD performs with lots of read and write operations going on at the same time. The 850 Evo copied the ISO folder at 401.99MB/s, the program folder at 191.27MB/s and the Game folder at 400.80MB/s. Much better, you might think. The WD Blue 3D NAND, for comparison’s sake, came in at 288.1MB/s for the ISO, 193.67MB/s for programs and 389.67MB/s for the game.

Even this comes with a bit of a caveat, though, as there really isn’t much between them in terms of actual practical benefit. Duration times, for instance, differed by just over a second in the ISO test and mere milliseconds in the program and game tests.

gamesread - Samsung 850 EVO review: A great SSD, but only just

As a result, you’d probably be perfectly happy choosing either SSD for your PC, as I think you’d be hard-pushed to tell the difference in overall speed or OS responsiveness. Instead, it really comes down cold hard cash, as there’s no point paying over the odds for fast SSD when a potentially cheaper one can do the same job just as well.

Unfortunately, current prices don’t make this particular buying decision much easier, as at time of writing the WD Blue 3D NAND costs £82 for 250GB (32.8p/GB), while the 250GB Samsung 850 Evo costs £84 (33.6p/GB). At that price, you might as well pay the extra – although it is worth noting that while the WD Blue 3D NAND only comes with a three-year warranty, its overall endurance rating is higher than the 850 Evo across all its various capacities. Samsung makes things a bit easier at 500GB, coming in at £6 less than the WD at £135, but even then it’s not much of an immediate saving. In the US, it’s a bit more straightforward, as you’re looking at $90 for the 250GB 850 Evo, $158 for the 500GB version. The WD Blue 3D NAND, however, is just $80 for 250GB and $140 for 500GB.

I realise this probably sounds a bit negative, but when all’s said and done, the Samsung 850 Evo is still a great SSD. It’s just that all SSDs are pretty good these days, so unless one’s significantly cheaper than the other, it doesn’t really make a huge amount of difference which one you go for unless you’re regularly moving mad quantities of video files or you’re the most monstrous power user the world’s ever seen (in which case, you’d probably want an NVMe M.2 SSD like Samsung’s 960 Pro and not a 2.5in model, but more on that another time).

In the meantime, though, the Samsung 850 Evo is still an excellent choice in the 2.5in category, but if you can find the WD Blue 3D NAND for a bit less, then you’ll almost certainly be just as happy with that instead.

Podcast: The worst games of the year on gamesread

We’ve told you about the most overlooked games and what has us excited for next year, but we haven’t had a good grump yet on the RPS podcast, the Electronic Wireless Show. So this week the team discuss the worst games they played in 2017. John thinks the misogyny of House Party puts it firmly in the bin, and Brendan is still wiping the red dust from his eyes after woeful survival game Rokh. But Matt can’t bring himself to call any game terrible, not even Star Wars Battlefront 2.

It’s not all negative vibes, however. We’ve also been smiling at pretty and poignant Gorogoa, climbing a mountain in Getting Over It, and shooting our way through Destiny 2‘s Curse of Osiris expansion. We’re only a bit scroogey.

You can listen above, or go straight to Soundcloud where you can download it for later.

You can also get the RSS feed here or find it on iTunes, Stitcher or Pocket Casts. The worst music of the year is by Jack de Quidt.
